Some patients who have joint replacements need to take a dose of oral antibiotics prior to dental care; if you have a history of joint replacements or of needing antibiotics before dental appointments in the past, please let us know when you call. This way, we can plan ahead to make sure you are properly premedicated for your appointment and expedite your care.
