Your First Visit

On your first visit to our dental office you will be greeted by our warm and friendly front desk team. You will be given some initial paperwork to  complete to help our team know more about your dental and medical history, Insurance information and your dental expectations and concerns.

We advise patients to come 15 minutes early for the scheduled new patient dental visit, so you have enough time to complete the paperwork and ask any questions.

You will be then greeted by one of our dental assistants or dental hygienists who will review your medical history along with any oral health concerns or dental anxiety you may have.

Next, our dentist will greet you and review your medical and dental histories,  and will recommend any necessary X-Rays.  Our experienced dental assistant will take the necessary digital X-Rays depending on the age, risks of disease and dentist recommendation.

X-Rays: Our modern dental office uses digital X-Ray technology, which emits virtually no radiation and is used to find decay between teeth,  or any dental problems otherwise unnoticed. We always use a lead apron to shield you during X-Rays.

Full Comprehensive Oral Examination: Our Dentist will check the X-rays thoroughly and will examine the teeth, gums, esthetics, signs of disease, existing restorations, TMJ and perform and oral cancer screening.

After a thorough exam, our dentist will discuss the findings and solutions for any dental problems. We offer all the possible treatment options with the advantages and disadvantages. A comprehensive treatment plan is made just for you.

Our Insurance coordinator or Front desk team will go over the treatment plan and discuss the easy payment options, dental insurance benefits and the stages of dental treatment.

A Thorough Dental Cleaning:  Our experienced dental hygienist will do the gum evaluation and with the doctor’s diagnosis, will do a thorough dental cleaning. In some instances we might not be able to do a teeth cleaning the same day, as we need enough time to give you the attention you deserve for the tailored teeth cleaning.

We will make a follow up appointment for your treatment and will give you a detailed treatment plan with the cost or estimated cost with insurance.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions as our goal is to make you comfortable and to make sure that you understand any recommended treatment.
